Flat upper buttocks: The switch with a full and straight upper buttocks is hidden here!

After hip training, the lower buttocks are well trained, but the upper buttocks are flat, why is that?

 It doesn't have to be because of movement, or training technique.

 The root of the problem is most likely in the brain.

 1. The gluteus maximus muscle grows obliquely, especially the upper buttocks

 Therefore, it is necessary to train the upper buttocks more: exert force in the direction of oblique upwards.

For example, if you do clam pose, just by establishing the consciousness of "exerting force in the oblique direction" in your mind, you will peculiarly find that the stress point of the gluteal muscles is even higher.

 If you feel weak, you can place your hand diagonally on your hips and guide your hips

 Give it a try. Leave a message to tell me how you feel.

 2. The lower buttocks, relatively speaking, tend to grow laterally.

 The common force is to gather the buttocks in the middle, such as [buttocks clamping].

 When standing and walking normally, there is no need for any deliberate hip pinching.

 3. Excessive lower buttock force habits may inhibit the force of upper buttocks.

 Because the upper and lower buttocks have a completely opposite effect:

 The upper hip is above the sagittal axis of the hip and acts by opening the thigh outward;

 The lower hips are to bring the legs together in the middle.

 Overdevelopment or tightening of the lower buttocks may inhibit the force of the upper buttocks.

 Other words:

If you always get used to pinching your buttocks in the middle [horizontally] when you train your buttocks or stand and walk every day, it will be difficult to train your upper buttocks.

The most basic solution: It is to start practicing with the clam pose, so that the mind can establish the awareness that the gluteus maximus is to exert force in the direction of oblique upwards. Then the feeling of force in the upper buttocks will get better and better
