Wuhan, China will build the world's tallest building - Phoenix Tower

In many big cities in China, there are already many tall iconic buildings, such as the Diwang Building, Beijing Foundation 100, Guangzhou East Tower, Taipei 101, and so on, all of which are skyscrapers. However, Wuhan, China is about to build the world's tallest twin towers - the Phoenix Tower. If completed, this will be a landmark building.

This twin tower was designed by British architect Chetwoods, who named the towers in a mythological style that symbolizes "twin phoenixes". The higher tower was named "Phoenix", while the lower one was named "Phoenix", collectively known as the Phoenix Tower. The height of this tower is 1000 meters, far higher than the current world's tallest building, the Dubai Tower, which is 848 meters high.

It is reported that this tower will cover an area of 7 hectares and be located on an island in the center of a 47 hectare lake. Of course, the surrounding environment will also become an affiliated scenic area of the entire tower. These two towers each have their own characteristics, the higher one leans towards the commercial area of Wuhan, and the other faces the cultural and leisure area of the city. From an environmental perspective, this tower can be used for waste recycling, generating its own electricity demand, and also delivering energy to the surrounding area. Of course, it is also part of the Wuhan Lake Environmental Green Strategy.

However, currently, the Phoenix Tower project, which responds to the Chinese architectural style, is still awaiting final approval from Wuhan City. Of course, if this project passes the final approval, groundbreaking will begin next year, and the expected total construction period will be more than 3 years. If everything goes smoothly, in a few years we will see the world's tallest building blooming on the land of China.
