Research shows that marijuana may be effective in treating cancer
When it comes to marijuana, everyone probably hates it deeply because drugs bring tragedy to too many families, bring too much crime, and ruin the lives of so many people. Therefore, various countries also crack down severely. However, studies have shown that marijuana may be effective in treating cancer.
Harvard University conducted a study in which researchers conducted experiments on mice and tested the chemical THC (tetrahydrocannabidiol). Marinol can replace THC in medicine. The first set of experiments showed that THC receptor activation naturally produces compound resistance to lung cancer. Researchers suggest activating these receptors with THC or other proxy activations, which may lead to targeted treatment for lung cancer. In medicine, Marinol has been used as an appetite stimulant for cancer patients and other similar treatments, and some studies have shown that THC may have anti-tumor activity.
The UK has recently completed the only clinical trial to test the effect of THC treatment on tumor growth. Within three weeks, researchers injected standard doses of THC into mouse and human lung cancer cells, compared animal and human cells, and ultimately found that tumors decreased by 50% in size and weight, and lung cancer lesions decreased by about 60%.
From this perspective, not all harmful things are useless, and if used in the right place, they can also be good medicine.
